Eddie Traughber is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in practice counseling since 1994. He has counseled hundreds of men and women with a variety of issues.
He has extensive experience working with men and women struggling with homosexuality, sexual addiction, and sexual abuse. Eddie served as the Director of Living Hope Ministries (Arlington, Texas based Exodus International referral ministry) from 1995–1999 and has worked with hundreds of men and women struggling with same sex attraction issues as well as other forms of sexual brokenness in both group and individual settings. He has also worked with hundreds of families and friends who are affected by a loved one who is gay or struggling with same sex attraction issues. Eddie has previously served as the Exodus International Regional Representative for the state of Texas.
Eddie speaks to churches and conferences addressing the issues surrounding homosexuality and sexual brokenness. He has a passion for helping to educate Christians regarding their role in helping hurting people from a loving and compassionate perspective while maintaining the Bible’s standards regarding sexual purity and sin.
Eddie also works regularly with men and women who are grieving over the loss of a loved one. He conducts grief recovery groups at various churches around the north Dallas area on a regular basis.
Eddie has an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts from Lubbock Christian University and a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.
